Introducing STATLAB Academy: Learn Statistics by Doing Statistics

I am pleased to introduce STATLAB Academy, an interactive statistics teaching platform designed to make statistics more practical, visual, and engaging for students and educators.

Website: https://statistics.safavim.com/

STATLAB Academy teaches statistics through clear explanations, mathematical concepts, visual learning tools, real-world examples, quizzes, datasets, and hands-on R Lab practice. Students can learn each concept step by step, run and edit R code, download datasets, explore official data, and use AI support to strengthen their understanding.

So far, the first three modules are available:

Module 1: Overview of Statistics
Introduces statistical thinking, data, uncertainty, ethics, and communication.

Module 2: Data Collection
Covers variables, measurement levels, populations, samples, surveys, and source reliability.

Module 3: Describing Data Visually
Explores dot plots, histograms, line charts, bar charts, scatter plots, tables, and deceptive graphs.

The platform also includes an Educator Dashboard, where instructors can create cohorts, share invite codes, assign learning activities, track student progress, access teaching materials, and review student work.

Additional modules, classroom resources, and video tutorials are currently in development.

My goal with STATLAB Academy is simple: to help students move beyond memorizing formulas and instead learn statistics by asking questions, working with data, practicing with R, and interpreting results clearly.

Feedback from educators, students, and colleagues is very welcome as the platform continues to grow.
