SAFAVI, M
Hi! I’m an economist and researcher.
Allow me to introduce myself – I am Mohammad, a dedicated full-time Finance professor. My academic journey is a tapestry woven with threads of research expertise and a profound commitment to human development.
Having earned a Ph.D. from Laurentian University, I have delved into the intriguing realms of geopolitics, finance, political ideology, and income inequality through my research. My impactful thesis, titled “The Impact of Finance and Political Ideology on Income Inequality: Empirical Analyses,” reflects the depth of my insights into the dynamic landscape of global economics.
My passion extends beyond the confines of academia. I am driven to explore the intricate interplay between globalization and sustainable human development, striving to contribute to positive change.
My accomplishments traverse various roles – from my tenure as a research assistant at Laurentian University to my role as a perceptive financial analyst at Town Care IDA Pharmacy in Toronto. Simultaneously, I’ve held the position of a senior economic advisor at Segal Novin, while sharing my expertise as a lecturer at Azad University.
My academic roots are grounded in a rich heritage. I hold a Master’s degree in Economics from the prestigious University of Tehran and hold dual undergraduate degrees from Azad University.
While my heart is deeply embedded in the realm of academia, my leisure moments find solace in reading, nurturing a garden, engaging in chess battles, and enjoying fishing escapades with my cherished daughter and wife in the picturesque landscapes of Ontario.
